چکیده
Objective This study aims to evaluate the phytochemical composition, antioxidant, and antihyperglycemic (in vivo, in vitro, silico) activities acute toxicity of Crataegus monogyna Jacq ( C monogyna) aqueous extracts. Methods The analyzed extract through various methods such as screening, high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet (HPLC-UV)-visible analysis. was also tested for antioxidant potential, toxicity, effect, inhibitory effect on pancreatic α-amylase enzyme. Additionally, used molecular docking approach identify most potent ligands extract. Results screening showed presence flavonoids, tannins, coumarins, sterol, triterpene. rich total polyphenols (1.65 ± 0.04 mg gallic acid equivalent per gram [GAE/g] DM), flavonoids (0.33 0.03 EQ/g condensed tannins (0.28 0.01 EC/mg DM). HPLC-UV-visible analysis identified 9 phenolic compounds, with high levels caffeic acid. has a activity an IC 50 9.23 mg/mL by DPPH 8.32 0.02 FRAP. not toxic albino mice. glucose tolerance test significant 0.070 0.008 inhibition monogyna. vivo enzyme confirmed. Two catechin, rutin, were inhibitors silico part study, compared native ligand, Acarbose. Conclusion found that properties. catechin rutin may contribute these effects. results suggest could be dietary supplement prevent treat diabetes.

The need for antioxidant agents, which can prevent oxidative stress, has become a major priority. Saharan plants could constitute a reservoir of effective biomolecules useful as antioxidants. Genista saharae, wich is anendemic plant of Algeria,is a leafless spontaneous fabaceae called "Tellegit" by local people. As it is known to be a source of chemical compounds which are characterized by anti...
